Doodah Dolphin
and Juliet
Doolittle
Into the water went the metallic golden
suitcase, which she picked up from the
hard rubbish in the late evening. It almost hit
Doodah Dolphin, doodling in the lighthouse
shaft at night. By itself the suitcase snapped
open and released some twinkly starry
network. Doodah Dolphin was delighted,
and tailwalked backwards over the
rainbow and disappeared down the river.
Juliet, from then on, wore a sleepy gaze
and a rainbow on her forehead and right
shoulder.
Visit the exhibition by local artist Herbert
Neetzel for the illustration of this story using
collages and gouaches.
