Inside ASC Bus Tour
Submarine and shipbuilding company ASC opens the gates
to its state-of-the-art shipyard and submarine maintenance
facilities in Osborne for four exclusive bus tours during the Port
Festival. Have a peek behind the scenes of two of Australia’s
biggest defence projects.
ASC is the Shipbuilder for the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD)
Alliance, and also built and maintains the Royal Australian
Navy’s fleet of six Collins Class submarines.
Learn about the capabilities of the destroyers and the subs as
the guided bus tour takes you past a submarine undergoing
its rigorous maintenance, and the units being built to
eventually become the AWDs. This is an unprecedented
opportunity that’s not to be missed.
