Port Festival Surfboat
Challenge
Presented by Australian
Surf Rowers League SA in
partnership with Surf Life
Saving SA. See crews from
around the state, battle
it out on the water in this
competition of speed,
stability and skill. While more
commonly associated with
surf carnivals, the skills of
these athletic crews have
their origins in surf-rescue
and are an important part
of local beach culture and
safety.

Prawn Trawlers visit
the Port
As part of the Complete
Seafood Experience prawn
trawlers will dock at the
wharf to be a part of the
festival. Welcome the crew
& get an insight into their
working craft and lives.

Rowing on the Port
River
Since 1838, the Port has
hosted rowing regattas on its
sheltered waters and for over
130 years the Port Adelaide
Rowing Club has seen
success at both state and
national level. Come and
see them in action during
the festival.
