The City of Port Adelaide Enfield
will continue to encourage and
support local artists.
Opportunities for future Public
Artworks are constantly being
considered and incorporated into
future redevelopments, upgrades
and public spaces.
For example, a Port Waterfront Public
Art Framework has been created to
drive the development of Public Art
around the Port. This document links
the broader commitment of the City of
Port Adelaide Enfield to commission
public artworks across the Port
Adelaide Centre, Semaphore Road
and beyond. In the Port Waterfront
redevelopment, the developer has
committed a Public Art Fund for the
procurement of Public Artworks across
the development area over the next
ten years, which also links with
Council’s proposed Public Art.
As opportunities for Public Art
commissions periodically arise,
Council will place ‘Expressions of
Interest’ on its website homepage:
www.portenf.sa.gov.au
