Gallantry

is not only a vital

fire-fighting vehicle, but also makes an impressive spectacle.

Witness the power, noise and capabilities of this important

vessel each day of the Festival weekend from the wharf.

On board the historic Ketch Falie

Built in 1919, the much-loved

Falie

will be open for the Port

Festival. You’re invited to come aboard this most interesting ship

and find out more about her fascinating heritage, including her

collision with a Japanese sub in Sydney Harbour and her claim to

fame as the last working ketch to sail South Australia’s

rugged coastline.
