Council’s Community Centres continue to cater for a wide variety of ages and
cultures within the services and programs.
New areas of service are “choices” a Youth Program established at the Parks
Community Centre in conjunction with Local High schools & Community
Clothing & Article SWAP Meet in conjunction with Anglicare.
The development of a Social Plan for Kilburn Community Centre has enabled
the introduction of new programs that target the needs of the local community.
Partnerships have been developed with key peak sporting organisations that have
delivered a variety of recreational programs for children and young people.

Actual:
Key events continue and are well attended including the OOts Matinee “Off the
Cuff” performance from the Metropolitan Police Band, the Autumn Disability
Friendly Disco , attracted 100 local residents and people from the Local
Supported Residential Facilities, the FAB Friday evening Performance “Memories
of Memphis-Elvis Tribute “ brought a large crowd (130) and the Launch of the
Masks Art Exhibition also was well attended with 60 people attending.

Actual: 96%
The Parks Community Centre commissioned Truscott Research to undertake a
customer satisfaction survey, designed to measure the Services: Attitude (eg level
of professionalism), responsiveness (eg to problems or requests of customers),
documentation (eg timeliness & accuracy of services), delivery (method,
timeliness & quality) Product/program (quality standard objectives achieved).
Over 500 people, who utilize the broad range of services offered at the Parks,
were randomly selected and interviewed on site or via the telephone. Detailed
results of the survey are published on Council’s website.
