Issues and opportunities
•
Research, design and implement a variety of WSUD initiatives in the City
to manage stormwater quality.
•
Establish an appropriate inter-agency monitoring programme that would
undertake on-going testing of a range of key aspects of wetland health.
•
Establish a Council integrated monitoring mapping program to
incorporate Council's Biodiversity monitoring and NRM's water quality
monitoring data.
•
Ongoing implementation of the program to develop Stormwater
Management Plans for key catchments in the City.
•
The expansion of large scale rainwater and stormwater capture and
reuse schemes where practical within the City.
