Terrestrial Vertebrates
In May 2009, there were two reptiles, 3 amphibians and 12 mammals recorded in the
Barker Inlet estuary and wetland systems throughout the five habitat types recorded
by Delta Consulting (Source: P. Coleman & F. Cook, 2009).
Fish
In May 2009, there were 25 fish species known to occur in the five habitat types
within the Barker Inlet estuary and wetlands system (Source: P. Coleman & F. Cook,
2009).
Aquatic invertebrates
In May 2009, there were 10 gastropods, 10 bivalves, 28 crustaceans, 7 insects, 4
worms and 11 other aquatic invertebrates recorded within the five habitat types within
the Barker Inlet estuary and wetlands system (Source: P. Coleman & F. Cook, 2009).
