Help in getting out and about
Are you an older person with an interest in
making new friends and getting out of the
house once a week? Do you find it difficult to
get to social groups?
If this applies to you then Port Adelaide Enfield Council’s
Home and Community Care social programs could be just
the thing for you.
We have lots of laughs and do a range of activities as well
as go on monthly outings. Our groups meet once a week
in community centres and provide social opportunities for
older people in our community. Transport is provided as
well as a good meal.
The social programs are funded by the Council and the
Commonwealth Government, so an assessment to determine
eligibility will be required. If you are interested please give
us a call on 8405 6804.
Make time for lunch
Would you like a delicious lunch cooked
for you each week? Want to make new
connections with other residents?
Then come along to the Enfield Lunch Club and
enjoy a two course meal for only $4. Lunch is held
every Friday at noon at the Enfield Community Centre,
540 Regency Road Enfield. Bookings are essential –
contact David on 8342 9168.
