Quarantine Station
Tours
The Quarantine Station has stood in chilling isolation
since 1879, when it was built to stop passengers
bringing smallpox to Adelaide. Join SA Maritime
Museum Historians as they lead you through an
enthralling tour of the landing and decontamination
area, the bathing block, isolation hospital and morgue.
You will need to be reasonably fit and wear closed
shoes. Tours are 2 hours long.
