to this fine tradition and enjoy a rare insight
into the complexities of each brew. From

Dark Ale, our expert brewer, Colin Paterson is
your captain on this tasting adventure. Colin
discusses the finer points of each ale, the
craft behind it, the tastes you’ll discover and,
of course, the history behind the ships - such
as the steam tug
Yelta
- that have lent their
names to the Lighthouse’s celebrated beers.

Since 1869, the lighthouse has been a
beacon to sailors, immigrants and fishers –
guiding them home by day and by night.
Climb the Port’s iconic lighthouse, take in
the view of the inner harbour, the coast and
the Mount Lofty Ranges. Discover the curious
history of the lighthouse that moved.
