The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is truly a City of
opportunity. Its distinctive environment, economic
prospects, exciting urban and industrial developments
and unique community make it a vibrant and appealing
place to live, work and play.
Council Elected Members and staff are working hard
to support the community, including residents,
business people and visitors, to capitalise on the
multitude of opportunities available for the City to
realise its full potential.
This new City Plan sets out what Council believes it can
do to make a positive contribution to the community’s
future, to meet the aspirations and expectations that you
have told us you hold for our City. The City Plan provides a
seven-year road map for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield,
describing the City we want to share. The City Plan will
guide the Council on how best to bring about all the things
that we as a community seek to achieve.
This City Plan is the result of extensive consultation both
with the Port Adelaide Enfield community and our partners
in Local and State Government, along with the Elected
Members and Council staff over the last eighteen months.
The Council strongly believes that this plan belongs to and
will benefit everyone with a role in the City’s future.
