A MESSAGE FROM AUSTRALIA’S

NEW BROADBAND NETWORK

NBN Co is busy making sure Australia is ready for the future

with a fast, reliable phone and internet services network.

The nbn™ network will give us all the opportunity to do more.

Whether working or playing, learning, or just having fun,

the nbn™ network will be a part of everyday life for decades

to come.

For the City of Port Adelaide Enfield this means:

1.

Some 3,400 homes and businesses can already connect to

the nbn™ as works are complete for the Prospect and

Modbury exchanges.

2.

From late November 2016 nbn™ services will be available

to approximately 8,000 homes and businesses, following

completion of works from the Gepps Cross exchange.

3.

By Christmas 2016, an additional 14,000 homes and

businesses will have nbn™ network construction started as

works progress from the Osborne exchange, with services

available progressively from May 2017.

4.

Approximately 25,000 homes and businesses connected

to the Pt Adelaide, Croydon and Hampstead exchanges

will see construction works commence either early 2017

or late 2017; with service availability approx. 12-months

following construction starting.
