PIRATES INVADE PORT

ADELAIDE

The Pirate Life Brewery opens in Port Adelaide on Saturday

March 9, from 10am.

The $20 million development will see Port Adelaide become the

home of this award-winning craft brewery, that was established

in 2014.

The new facility located on Barlow Street Port Adelaide will not

only become their main brewing plant, but also the centre for

events for up to 2,500 people and serious beer tastings, as the

site also boasts a 20.12 metre bar (the same length as a cricket

pitch), large event space, beer education centre, hairdresser and

merchandise shop.

Pirate Life Brewery is committed to supporting local art and

artists in Port Adelaide, and they recently announced their Major

sponsorship for the 2019 Wonderwalls street art project to be

held in Port Adelaide in April.

Managing Director of Pirate Life Brewing, Michael Cameron, said

he was committed to Port Adelaide and he is working with local

artists and event organisers to highlight how great the Port is,

and to bring new people to the area.

“I believe that the Port is the gateway to the rest of Australia,

so we’re here for the long haul, and want to be part of the

revitalisation of the area, with Pirate Life a vital hub of activity

here.

“As well as supporting local events we will be hosting many of

our own, including our inaugural, A day on the Cans music event

on Saturday March 30.”

Pirate Life Brewery will be employing approximately 80 staff.
