Pressure indicators:
KESAB community monitoring number of samples with poor results.
The sampling locations include sites within the Council area, on the boundary, and the adjacent sites upstream and
downstream of the Council border.
KESAB Waterwatch has not monitored at two sites DRY550 and DRY560 along Dry Creek since 2005. They have also
removed two monitoring sites DRY 570 and DRY600 since 2005.
A higher incidence of poor samples were collected from Dry Creek when compared to sample sites of the Torrens River.
The Thomas Turner Reserve site has the highest number of poor samples (6) since 2006. However, number of poor samples
has reduced by half since the SoE 2007 recordings.
Very high levels of nitrate were recorded at several locations and indicate a diffuse source of nutrients entering the creek.
