BUILDING A NEW FUTURE
AT THE PARKS LIBRARY
The contract for the construction of the new Parks Library
was awarded to Minuzzo Project Management in July 2017
and construction is now well underway, with footings and the
concrete slab being laid in recent weeks and the steel framed
structure for the main library building being erected in the
coming weeks.
The large steel frame for the main library building has been
a regular point of discussion during the design process, given
the relatively complex shape of the building. Photographs of
the site progress can be found on our website.
A time lapse photography of the entire construction phase
of the project is being recorded and will showcase all of the
site progress during the project’s construction.
Designs for the public art and wayfinding signage are ongoing,
with final designs expected to be signed off soon.
The final designs and details will be submitted in a
development application in the next couple of weeks and
will also be made publicly available soon after via our website.
