This is a five year plan to 2015 with key and targeted objectives including:-
•
A partnership between the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander community which is respectful and collaborative.
•
An understanding of the demographic profile of the Port Adelaide Enfield
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community which allows access to
and allocation of resources based on an accurate foundation.
•
A healthy and active Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community who
have access to a range of appropriate health and wellbeing services.
•
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living within the City of Port
Adelaide Enfield will have access to a range of housing options that meet
their needs with relation to affordability, size, safety and access to
services.
•
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have the opportunity to
participate in education, training and employment that enables them to
benefit from economic growth and personal well-being.
