Suitcase Art Trail
21 emerging and established artists and five
community groups have been commissioned
to decorate suitcases to form the Suitcase
Art Trail around the Port.

Luggage Tags
Local schools and community groups have
been invited to decorate luggage tags to
creatively depict what they would take with
them if they were to travel into a future Port
Adelaide. Up to 2,000 luggage tags will be
on display during the Port Festival. Pick a
blank one up from the information desk and
add your tag to the display!

Port Adelaide’s history is grounded by
new arrivals, with their worldly possessions
in their suitcases - their treasures, photos
and belongings ready to start a new life in
Australia. With the theme of suitcases and
arrivals in mind, the Port pays homage to
those travels from across the globe through
a series of enlightening and absorbing
exhibitions.
