Comparison of National Pollutant Inventory results
•
From 2004/05 to 2007/08 there has been an increase in total emissions of
top source substances (in kg/year) including oxides of nitrogen, and Total
Volatile Organic Compounds in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
•
Overall, there has been a decrease in Particulate Matter in the City of Port
Adelaide Enfield.
•
Carbon monoxide and Ammonia levels were the same for 2004/05 and
2007/08.
•
The largest increase of total emissions from 2004/05 was recorded in
oxides of nitrogen.
*Note: Diffuse data are general emissions within airshed and water catchment
study areas. The data includes emissions from smaller industries, and mobile
and non-industrial sources. They are included to provide a more comprehensive
picture of emissions to the environment.

premises in June 2011 were recorded to be 192.

The air quality complaints regarding licensed premises may have reduced due
to the licensed premises acting to reduce their atmosphere emissions through
the implementation of the EPA’s required Action Management Plans over the
last two years.
