New friends in 2015
The Clearview Senior Citizens Club meets each Tuesday
from 1-3.30pm at the Community Hall at 11 Clearview
Crescent, Clearview. Members enjoy cards and social
carpet bowls with a lot of laughs. They also share
special monthly lunches and a lending library of
books is available.
“We always have a break in the afternoon for a cup of
tea and a chat,” says Club Secretary Alison. “We share
interesting stories about earlier days and the history
of the district. Some of our members live on their own
and enjoy the company the club offers. We can help to
arrange transport for people if necessary.”
