Going for Golf in 2015
If you are looking for a new hobby or pastime to tee off
into 2015, then why not consider a visit to the friendly
Regency Park Golf Course, located at Days Road,
Regency Park.
Despite its close proximity to a major transport corridor,
paying a visit to the Regency Park Golf Course is
like visiting an oasis in the suburbs. Nestled within a
stunning wetland area the tranquil location also provides
access to great facilities. The course boasts a variety of
playing options designed to provide a competitive, fun,
challenging and social environment. The nearby Regency
Tavern is the perfect spot to recount the game with like-
minded golfers, and offers viewing spots for family
and friends.
The course is open seven days a week. For those who
are considering playing at the grounds regularly, a season
ticket will enable you to play as often as you like and
there is currently a special offer available. New season
ticket holders who join or rejoin are offered an 18 month
membership for the cost of a 12 month membership, a
nine month membership for the cost of six months and
a five month membership for the price of three months.
Contact Gary at the Pro Shop on 8268 5753 for
more information.
The course is also home to the Regency Park Golf Club,
a social club who play competitions at the grounds
including Stroke, Stableford, Ambrose, Pinehurst,
Matchplay and some novelty events.
Club membership entitles players access to the practice
green and fairway, and tuition is available on site to
guide the beginner and new players. Commencing a
membership at the Club will determine your registered
handicap, allowing you to enter events at other clubs
and play using the GolfLink system. The Club runs
regular Saturday morning 18 hole competitions and 9
hole competitions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, run in
conjunction with the Pro Shop, for any golfer registered in
the Golflink system.
The Club is offering a special membership rate for new
members of only $200 for full membership through until
30 June 2016, and the joining fee has been waivered. If
you are interested in joining this social and successful
club, and taking advantage of the discounted membership
rate, contact Phill, President on 0407 719570 or email
